- In 1911, William and his family were living on Centre St, Dunnville.
- Newpaper clipping: On March 2, 1912, “William Billyard was somewhat seriously injured when he was struck by the snowplow on a CNR engine.”
- In 1925, William and Permilla as well as their children John, Lillie, Madeline and Permilla, were living in Buffalo with the Kingsbury. One of the Kingsbury children was named Edward. William and Permilla's son Milo had a best friend named Eddie Kingsbury (according to [32]). However there is 9 year difference between Milo Billyard and the Edward Kingsbury in the 1925 census, and so it is not clear if this is Milo's best friend.
- Note that William's middle name (pronounced “O'-key”) only shows up three times. Once on the first census that he was in (wherein his name was listed as O.K.), on the statement of birth of his son William Elmer Billyard, and on his death certificate. In the 1928 City Directory for Buffalo, William is listed as “William M” [9].
- William's death certificate states that the cause of death was aortic insufficiency, a condition whereby blood flows in the reverse direction during ventricular diastole due to the aortic valve leaking.
- According to his wife's (Permilla's) obituary, William died in 1935
