- Samuel's middle initial is listed as “F” in his marriage registration. He was living in Pine Run, MI, at the time of his marriage to Eunice.
- Samuel Timothy Billyard's Certificate of Probation: “This Certifies that Samuel Billyard was received on probabion in the Fenton, Mich. First Methodist Episcopal Church in Detroit conference,Feb.18, 1899. Isaac E. Springer, Pastor.”
- On Samuel's death certificate, his father is listed as “John” rather than “Francis”. However, given that Samuel's one son is Francis Samuel and one daughter is Nellie Saphronia (reflecting both of Samuel's parent's name) suggests that there was an error of information in this death certificate.
