Notes
- According to [8], Nathaniel was christened April 16, 1820. Furthermore, according to [6] Nathaniel was 77 when he died (1897) placing his birth year in 1820, which is consistent with his appearance in the 1861 English census. Although the exact county of his birth is inconsistent in the census records, they all state that Nathaniel's birthplace is Woodcoats (with sundry variations in spelling), although in modern times there is no “Woodcoate” in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, or Yorkshire.
- Nathaniel was living in North Muskham prior to his death.
