Notes Note that William was called a minor when he became a beneficiary from his father's will (Enoch Green of New Jersey) that was signed on 9 Sep 1775 and proved on 6 May 1777. He was also called a minor when he became a beneficiary from his grandfather's will (William Green of Trenton, New Jersey) that was signed on 1 Feb 1779 and proved on 25 May 1786. Thus his birth year was inferred to be within 18 years of 1779, but obviously no later than 1775 (source: [2]).
