Notes
- Note that source [2] lists eleven children for William and Joanna Green, as does [3] when listing children from William's will. The only anomaly between the two sources is that the former lists a child as Jeremiah whereas the latter lists a child as Josiah. Hence, there may be 12 children and both sources missed one, or Jeremiah and Josiah are one in the same.
- How birth date was inferred from Watson Kirkconnell, 1976, “Climbing the Green Tree and Some Other Branches”, Watson Kirkconnell, Wolfville, Nova Scotia. (page 14): In William Green's will (signed 11 January 1721 (JC)) it states that the four youngest sons “shall be put out to learn such trades as they shall choose at the age of 17”. Hence the four youngest sons were born within 17 years of 1721, but not older than their older siblings whose birth years are known.
