Notes
- According to Nathaniel's will [5], he was a “senior of Boston and lately of the parish of Frampton”. His will was made on 4 June 1859, was proven on 23 July 1859 and had stated an estate value of under £1,500. It made the following provisions: (1) £200 to his nephew Henry Billyard of Kirton; (2) £300 to his nephew James William to be paid when he was 23; (3) £200 to his niece Betana to be paid when she was 21; (4) £100 as well as Nathaniel's house [7 Witham Place, Boston] and furniture to his niece Charlotte, to be paid when she was 21; (5) should Charlotte not survive to see this then the same is given to his great-nephew Nathaniel Billyard, the son of Henry Billyard of Kirton. The executors assigned were James Lighton and Henry Billyard of Kirton.
- Nathaniel's grave stone reads “Sacred to the memory of Nathaniel Billyard, Boston, who departed this life June 21 1859 in the 66th year of his age”
